THE SUMMER IS HERE!!!

Finally, all my work is handed in and it felt so good to get my hand in conformation back and put it in the folder and then put the folder away for a few months. Its all change here at the moment, us women know the meaning of a good spring clean to get the muscles going and the eject the dust bugs from corners we never even thought about over the winter. The sun may not be shining as brightly these says but there are certainly some positive things coming my way in terms of making summer a very good summer.

The first project on the list after helping out various people with getting into gear is to start my memory box, this involves paints and decorations and doodles and tape and lots of sorting. There are so many pieces of things everywhere that need to be collected. It's not like I'm going to put everything in and seal it away because it is an ongoing project but the main body of it is in process as of today...I realise that the writing stuff is supposed to be my first port of call but that can wait a while, between the stress and the need for relaxation I don't think I can do it much justice, best to stick to something straight forward for the moment...wish me luck

P.s The canvas that I was going to offer a price for from the art show fell through, she wanted more than I could offer because she had used an expensive canvas and needed to make a profit which is fair enough. Shame though, Ill just have to post a photograph soon x

Crumbling world?

I apologies to those few avid readers who have not heard my endeavours for the past couple of weeks but there has not been a lot in the way of writing happening and there has also been a lot of other s**t happening that have prevented me from writing. Its one thing to have writers block but its another to know you wanna write and could probably do something worth while if it wasn't for the rest of my life getting in the way. charming isn't it.

Anyway all is settled down now and hopefully after the last draft of the last essay and the last edit of the short story for Wednesday I will have four months to do what it is I wanna do and despite it all I think it will still be the most influential and memorable summer yet. It may sound strange but that's where it all stands now.

Writing wise my first port of call is to collect together ALL writing from everywhere that I have. This includes things stuffed in uni folders, cupboards, notebooks and on napkins (yes I'm the bugger who nicks them when I go out for food), they will all be sorted accordingly and then some may be elaborated on, edited or chucked. I know your not supposed to throw anything away writing wise because it may or may not come in useful but believe me there are really some things I have that are terrible, and I can finally see that. At one point I actually believed anything I wrote was insightful - I was very ill at the time.

I promise that I will update more often now the summer is upon me and maybe post pictures of anything I can that may be interesting. One good thing that has come out of this week is that I went to my friends art show at the uni and spotted a canvas I wanted so much I got my friend to ask the artist (classmate) if she would part for it for a small price. My theory is, she's an artist and its a sale (in the most basic way of looking at it) so fingers crossed for that - you have to see it its ace!!!

Right...I need food...Back soon xxx
