I am a student of Creative Writing and I've been told I'm too 'out there' for my own good. I don't mind - my moto is: Carpe Diem

Good afternoon. I realise yesterday I missed my entry which doesn't bode well but no matter, I don't think you missed anything vital.

Today started off with heavy rain thundering against the window at around 4am followed by the sunrise which looked almost brown because it was hidden behind the rain clouds. By 9am I was awake, I didn't set an alarm as Fridays are the one day I get to lie in and rest my weary body. I finally got up and logged on to check my messages of which there was only one, my horoscopes for today - I don't follow them religiously but sometimes they have been helpful as a guide so I keep them.

I'm a little blue today - I've got work to do for my course but it can wait. My tummy hurts and my head is spinning so today has been designated as a 'non-day' a day where unless the place burns down or someone tried to break in with an axe, I don't move unless I absolutely have to. My work will get done later on and the dishes have already been done so nothing to worry about.

While most people I find reach their peak early on in the day, my mind doesn't seem to until around 3pm - a time I've found I can sit down to work and push forward without feeling like I am forcing things out from where they obviously wanna stay. I must remember to pull out my notes on the Goldilocks story at this point tomorrow and see if I can finish my retelling of it for class next week or else find some variations of the tale for the presentation. sounds like a plan.
