I am a student of Creative Writing and I've been told I'm too 'out there' for my own good. I don't mind - my moto is: Carpe Diem

Writing can be hard. Before I went to the hospital earlier i wrote a short piece about being in the shower, nothing special but I think when you write about something that you have done and focus on that one thing you can get a lot out of it. More details is needed to smaller things than trying desperately to describe big things and running out of words (starting to repeat yourself)

My latest read is Elizabeth Wurtzel 'Prozac Nation' - a memoir about a girl with mental health issues. True i have to read it for my uni course but i can get into it because its similar in some ways to my own situation. Confusion and organisation, misunderstood behaviour and writers block as well as all the other themes contained in its pages make it worth a look.

p.s I would recommend the film just for the film, it doesn't compare to the book.

Its dark now. the lights are glowing small but bright in the distance. rows of ageing houses burn their gas like there is no tomorrow. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
