It has been four months since I last updated, I am wondering where all the time went, but then I realise I know exactly where. I have lost myself in the pages if writers of American Fiction and have emerged quite impressed.

Don't get me wrong, these books have not taken up all my time but they have given me so much to think about, particularly about image and the way the view of society changes through time.

Other than these and a few other good reads I have been swamped with uni work from the day of my last update. My main focus has been with the community project at the WRVS and have been working to produce a workbook with lesson plans and teaching rationale that I will use as a base for the Reminiscence project that will hopefully go a long way to getting me the 2:1 I want from my degree. I aim to make a scrap book of all their stories and anecdotes and include photographs and bios for all the group members. I am really looking forward to doing this and since the workshops start in a couple of weeks, i best be prepared.

Since I last write all my plans have changed and now more than anything I want to move to Brighton or London and away from Staffordshire; not because I don't like it but because I need a change of scenery, something new and interesting to explore. Hopefully this change will come about July/August time and I will have a lot on new photos and ideas to add to my writers journal so fingers crossed for that :-)
